About Natalia – (She/Her)

I am a fully qualified Counsellor, Psychotherapist and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

As a Black, cisgender woman, who also identifies as Lesbian (and sometimes Queer) my work is inclusive and affirmative of the intersecting identities of human beings.  I am aware of how people can be and are oppressed for one or more aspects of their identity. I am conscious of and I understand how structures of power, racism, discrimination and privilege can negatively impact a person’s mental , health and wellbeing. My practice offers a secure and validating space, where harmful and hurtful experiences can be expressed, processed and where healing can begin.

I work in a person-centred, integrative and relational way. This means that, I am able to use and combine several psychotherapy techniques that meet your unique and individual needs. My intention is to form a trusting and mutually respectful therapeutic relationship with you, one that empowers and enables you to safely explore, navigate and move forward in your life in a way that feels right for you.

I have extensive experience of working therapeutically with children, young people and adults who have developed trauma spectrum disorders, as a result of lived experiences of violence, oppression and other forms of abuse.
